The following patient is 19 years old and has worn spectacles for 5 years.  He wants to fitted with contact lenses.  He has no health or ocular problems other than the refractive error.

K-readings: 43.00 @ 180; 44.50 @ 090
Spectacle Rx: -3.25 = -1.75 x 180
